A trip to the seaside will offer you leisure and entertainment on the white beaches of the "Riviera delle Palme", with its three main resorts San Benedetto del Tronto, Grottammare and Cupra Marittima connected also by a promenade and cycle lane running along the seafront.

Lined with palm trees and tamarisks the beautiful seafront of San Benedetto del Tronto stretches for several kilometres. This is also the main town on the coast with bars, restaurants, shops and a twice weekly lively market.

Grottammare, with its beautiful orange and lemon gardens, is famous for its impressive Art Nouveau villas on the sea front and for the beautiful Piazza Peretti and the "Teatro dell'Arancio" in the old centre on top of the hill.

In Cupra Marittima you can also visit the Museo Malacologico housing the world's largest permanent exhibition of shells, coral, mother of pearls, minerals and fossils.
